Google’s New Favicon

What’s that you say?

Google has just released their new favicon, which is short for “favorites icon.” This little square image is usually located in the tab bar or title page of a website.

My two cents? Juvenile and boring. It looks like a child colored this. Uh, props to coloring within the lines. The only thing that got me excited about this was that the original inspiration drew from a college student living in Campinas, Brasil, which is where I spent my student exchange days.

Tropicana Orange Juice Has a New Design

UPDATE: It appears that Tropicana is reverting back to it’s original design.

Looks like Tropicana® has followed in the footsteps of Pepsi® and is sporting a new look. They’ve redesigned the packaging of their orange juice cartons. I’m not a fan as I think there is too much white space. I do give them props for the orange cap, which my coworker pointed out to me. What do you think?
